Night of Mayhem is a good-looking daughter of leading Australian sire Zoustar and was a $350,000 MM yearling purchase. Night of Mayhem is the third foal from the Nayef mare Mischief and Mayhem, a daughter of the G 1 winning mare Mail the Desert, from the family of G2 Sunline Stakes winner Miss Rose De Lago. She is a full sister to the six-time winning, group placed mare Star of Chaos. Star of Chaos is currently in foal to up and coming young sire Farnan.
Zoustar is already the damsire of 3 Stakes winners from his first 40 runners, including G3 winner Holmes A Court, Dawn Service and Discretion Rules.
Night of Mayhem is carrying an early positive to exciting young sire Captivant. Captivant was a $550,000 Magic Millions purchase and is by Written Tycoons best son Capitalist. He recorded the second fastest Group 1 Champagne Stakes win in history and was a pre-Christmas 2YO winning the Victory Vein Plate on debut. He had a timeform rating of 121 following his highly regarded G1 Caulfield Guineas run where he came a close second to 9 time Group 1 winner Anamoe.
