Description
The mare Tenacious was lightly raced, winning her debut start impressively over 1000m. A tendon injury curtailed her racing career after 3 starts. She comes from a proven sprinting family. She is OK to vet, drench, farrier and transport. She is a well-built mare with no confirmation issues. This is her third foal.
Tenacious’ dam Another Project has had two named foals, both winners. She is a half-sister to Group 1 Railway Stakes winner GOOD PROJECT, and a half sister to multiple black type winner WORLD AIRLINES and black type placegetter ALACARTE.
She is by sire of the moment PRIDE OF DUBAI (sire of Bella Nipotina, Pride Of Jenni, etc.). Pride Of Dubai won the Group 1 Blue Diamond and Group 1 ATC Sires Produce.
Tenacious is in foal to 2nd season sire BRUCKNER, a son of Champion Sire Snitzel from Jestajingle, a daughter of the outstanding sire LOHNRO. Bruckner was a sale topping yearling colt ($725,000) that went on to win the G3 McNeil Stakes (defeating Artorius) and a close 2nd in G1 Coolmore Stakes behind Home Affairs.
The foal is bred on the successful Redoute’s Choice / Street Cry cross which has produced group winners TREASURETHE MOMENT, FARNAN, AUTUMN BALLET, YALDI, etc.
A young mare that has a pedigree to match many of the stallions standing commercially, to produce a very fine sprinter.
