Tragara is a race-winning daughter of Champion sire Written Tycoon, offered in foal to dual Group 1-winning 2YO King's Legacy (Redoute’s Choice) on a September cover — a valuable, well-timed commercial mating.
King’s Legacy is off to a promising start with 7 winners from 24 runners, including the G3 David Coles Am Stakes winner STEEL TRAP. His yearlings have been very well received selling for up to $775,000. Purchased for $380,000 at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, Tragara was a standout on type and pedigree, and she backed that up on the track with 2 wins and multiple competitive efforts. Her sire, Written Tycoon, is one of Australia’s premier stallions and an emerging influence as a broodmare sire, currently running at 55.6% w/r and 3.4%sw/r.
Tragara is out of Ariaz (Charge Forward), a race-winning, G3 placed juvenile, from the family of Group 3 winners SHELBOURNE LASS and ELUSIVE TOUCH — making this a proven, active black-type family.
