Description

A good opportunity to secure a very well-related mare from a fast black-type family being a half-sister to G1 winning sprinting stars MAZU and former Champion 2YO Filly HEADWAY who won the G1 Coolmore Stud and ran 2nd in the Golden Slipper.

Whitula is being sold in foal to HITOTSU, the triple Group 1 winning best son of Maurice, meaning the resultant foal is bred on the same cross as the consistent star sprinter MAZU who has now earned over $9 million in prize money.

She is an attractive, good-sized mare who has always been an easy, uncomplicated breeder which you can see from her excellent breeding history. She is a pleasure to handle and is good in the crush.

She has produced 2 winners to date however we feel her best is yet to come with 2 MAURICE fillies in work– her rising 3YO ‘Eastern Beauty’ with Brad Widdup and her rising 2YO with Chris Waller.

Whitula is a daughter of Onemorenomore, the same broodmare sire as multiple group-winning mare Revolutionary Miss who just sold for $1.6 Million at the 2025 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale.
