Description
This is an outstanding opportunity to acquire an international Group One performed mare in-foal to Wootton Bassett.
Unbeaten in her two starts at two, including the Listed Chantilly Prix Hérod (1400m), Wind Chimes, won the Group Three Deauville Prix de Lieurey (1600m) at three.
She was narrowly beaten in both the Group One Prix du Moulin de Longchamp (1600m) and the Group One Longchamp Poule d'Essai des Pouliches (1600m).
Wind Chimes ended her three-year-old season as the Equal Leading 3YO Filly on the 2018 WTR (Mile), with a World Thoroughbred Ranking of 118.
Wind Chimes has a two-year-old filly by St Mark’s Basilica in the stable of Joseph O’Brien, and she also has a 2024 filly by Frankel to run for her.
With nine individual winners and six Stakes performers to-date from his first Australian bred crop of two-year-olds, Wootton Bassett needs no introduction. His yearlings sold to $1,700,000 here this year and he stands for $385,000 in 2025.
The European Champion Two-Year-old Sire of 2024, Wootton Bassett has already sired 14 individual Group One winners, and he is the sire of the highest priced colt in European Sales History at 4,300,000gns!
