4yo Bay/Brown Gelding by SO YOU THINK out of BABEL
• This 4yo gelding by SO YOU THINK has been given every opportunity to grow and develop into a lovely horse.
• His dam BABEL is a five-time winning mare by LONHRO, who has produced three winners. BABEL gained blacktype when she was second in the L Gosford RC Belle of the Turf Stakes. She is a half-sister to the multiple G3 placed mare ANY DAY WILL DO (Any Given Saturday).
• STAIRWAY hails from an impressive pedigree that includes SEASCAY (Maizcay) who was a multiple G1 winner and placed in a further 7 G1s, as well as LITTORIO (Bellotto), who won the G1 STC BMW Stakes and the G1 VRC Turnbull Stakes.
• STAIRWAY’s sire, SO YOU THINK, has produced 11 G1 winners and operates at 10% stakes horses to runners in Australia. Over 70% of his colts are winners. SO YOU THINK’s progeny typically improve with age, with recent top performers such as THINK ABOUT IT and THINK IT OVER winning G1s at 5yo and 8yo respectively.
• STAIRWAY’s owners have decided to move him on as they prefer to be racing stakes class horses. STAIRWAY is very unexposed, having only raced seven times. He has the ability to break his maiden, earn some prize money and make his way through the grades for his new owners. With such little mileage on the clock, STAIRWAY should be able to provide his new owners with plenty of days out at the races.
