Description
A model of consistency, Linara has won or placed in 7 of his 12 career starts, highlighted by a dominant 3.8 length victory over 1400 metres earlier this season. He has an exciting career ahead and has been knocking at the door for another win, but is best suited to firm tracks.
By Champion Sire Lonhro, Linara is a standout type, which is reflected in his $360,000 Inglis Easter price tag as a yearling. His dam, Fascination Street, was a talented stakes winner of five races and has made an excellent start at stud, producing three winners to date, including 2YO stakes performer and $500,000 earner Maotai.
With consistent form, valuable race experience and an impeccable pedigree, Linara is a horse with serious upside. He is currently spelling at Cavallo Agistment Centre (just outside Otaki, New Zealand) and is available for inspection and vetting upon request.
He will be ready to return to work in mid-August.
