Description

Giles is a strong, well-built 3-year-old gelding with quality breeding, being out of the black-type mare Impinge. He has the size, scope, and physical presence to develop into a genuine racehorse, particularly over more ground.

Lightly raced, Giles has already shown ability with a 2nd placing over 1400m, and there’s every indication he’ll improve further over longer distances as he matures.

While he may not be ideally suited to Victorian company at this stage, we believe Giles would thrive in a slightly weaker racing jurisdiction where he can build confidence and show his full potential.

He’s a pleasure to have in the stable – good to train, ride, and handle – and presents as a sound opportunity for buyers seeking a progressive type with upside in the right environment.
