Description
Pentacles is a young filly by Pentire out of a winning Bertollini mare from a family that is littered with Blacktype. Pentacles is being offered as a breeding prospect after being found to have bone chips in her knee.
Having only had two official trials in her career at the track to date and with age on her side, there is nothing to suggest that she could not potentially continue racing under the right management or following surgery to remove the chips.
From a breeding perspective, Pentacles certainly has a lot to offer, by the same stallion that has given us the NZ Derby winner Xcellent, as well as Mufhasa, Xtravagant, Zarita, Rangirangdoo and Prince Of Penzance to name just a few.
Pentacles dam Kincaple Belle is a two time winner that also finished fourth at Listed level as a 2YO. Kincaple Belle is a three-quarter-sister to the stakes performer Kincaple Dancer and is out of the Group 3 placegetter Omoto Lass.
