Description
A well-related filly who is just starting to mature. Suitable for a racing prospect in a lower cost jurisdiction, and/or as a broodmare prospect.
This filly is out of the GEBLITZT who won five races in Sydney and Brisbane and also placed fourth in a stakes-race.
She is a half-sister to the multiple winner and earner of more than $300k to date, LYCURGUS. One of Lycurgus' wins was the Listed Galilee Series Final at Caulfield, whilst two other wins were at metropolitan (Melbourne) level.
Blitz 'n' Magic hails from a very strong family. Her second dam AIM FOR GOLD placed in the Group 1 Champagne Stakes as a two-year-old. Aim For Gold also produced three other winners, half-siblings to Geblitzt, including stakes-performers SUDDEN WEALTH and MADIBAGOLD.
Her third dam, YOUNG VIC, was a terrific producer. She produced prolific Sydney stakes-winners WALKING OR DANCING and IRONGAIL, and is also the grand-dam of Group 1 winners HAURAKI and KIDNAPPED.
Suitable for further racing in lower cost jurisdictions, Blitz 'n Magic shows some winning potential as evidenced by three good placings in the competitive Victorian environment.
By the sire of 24 stakes-winners, MAGIC ALBERT, out of a TESTA ROSSA mare from this strong family, Blitz 'n' Magic is also set to enjoy a fruitful broodmare career post-racing.
