Talented mare ready to win now.

Geegee was a very late foal (29-11-14) but is a beautiful strong type about 16 hands, huge hind quaters.

She has had only 7 starts in very strong fields. 2nd Echucha btn head - certainty beaten. 2nd Swanhill cup carnival, led till 50m from post, and a really good 4th at top track Cranbourne, only beaten 1.5 lengths. she has had a beaut 5 weeks spell to get away from wet tracks etc and would win easily at big odds over 1200m on a decent track first up.

She looks terrific at the moment. (The winner at Echuca LIKE TO THINK SO has won 3 races since and 10 days ago ran 5th at Flemmington, leading till 100m mark. He was attacked the whole trip, backed from 15-1 into 6.5 --2nd fav). Geegee sat back and was nearly put through the fence at the 800m. She gave the winner 12 lengths start into the straight and wins in 1 more bound- enormous run.

At Swan Hill carnival, she led to stay out of the mud,ran clear 2nd in a big field, Brad Rawiller thought she was not concentrating with blinkers. Put winkers on - nice ability. Her last 2 runs look bad but both jockeys said to ignore the runs. they eased her out of the race because she was hopeless in the going. Vet reports stated 'no abnormalities'. She despises soft and synthetic tracks.

Had I not just fractured a hip and knee, at 73, I would have gone on with her. I could have won a midweek Mdn down here easily first up on a decent track.
