Description
This yearling colt is the fourth foal of a winning Danehill Dancer mare who is a half sister to Group 2 The Shorts winner PAMPELONNE out of a Rory’s Jester mare who was stakes placed at 2. This is a family of consistent Group winners and stakes horses including the winner of last year’s Group 3 Toy Show Handicap in SWEET REDEMPTION and further back the Group 1 Flight Stakes winner DANGLISSA.
The colt is a strong and correct type who has recently been fully X-rayed and the vet summary of the Xrays is included. He was rated Low Risk on Xrays with notes on his immaturity which is not unexpected given he was a December foal. This is a colt who will take some time but has all the right attributes to develop into a quality racehorse.
The colt is a member of the first crop of exciting new sire Nostradamus, a multiple Group winning son of Medaglia D’Oro and half brother to Star Witness. Nostradamus served 200 mares in his first two seasons at stud and his first crop is sure to be in high demand at next year’s yearling sales.
