Secret Reward is a 4yo chestnut gelding by the G1 Blue Diamond winner Reward For Effort, whose Stakes winning progeny include Gold Symphony, Ability and Brugal Reward.
This gelding is out of a two-time winning Made of Gold mare and he’s a brother to the five-time winning Hong Kong galloper and earner of over HK$4M, Jumbo Luck.
To date the gelding has had 15 starts, winning on 2 occasions up to 1400m and being placed on a further 5. In total he has amassed nearly $70,000 in prize money.
Secret Reward last ran on the 31st August 2018 at Mildura, finishing 7th. Prior to this he was 2nd at Warracknabeal over 1200m.
Is a big strong 16.1hh plus horse who has been super consistent in his career. He reportedly has no bad habits but he definitely doesn’t like wet tracks being a bigger heavy horse. He is reportedly sound and will be racing Saturday or Sunday and is ready to push on with for his new owners.
He's had 7 goes on a good track for 2 wins a 1 third and 8 goes on a wet track for just 4 placings- so his not hopeless on the wet but just doesn’t let down as good as he does on the firm.
The form around him is city class and he will be a great buy for someone.
