Description
Yearling colt by Hallowed crown, from a winning Encosta de Lago mare in Dreams And Desires. The progeny of Encosta De Lago mares overall operate at 63% winners-to-runners, making him one of the most prolific broodmare sires we have.
Hallowed crown, the sire of this colt, is arguably the best colt from the Street Cry line in Australia and the star miler in a fine crop. He is out of a half-sister to Zabeel. His first yearlings sold for up to $240,000 and his second crop yearlings sell in 2019.
This colt's dam is a half-sister to Yes Boss, a four time winner with earnings of over $215,000 and is also a half-sister to 3 time winner in Laguna Lake, who amassed over $140,000 in prize money.
Dreams and Desires his dam is putting together an impressive record as a broodmare herself, with this colt’s half-brother a winner in Australia as Unblemished Mark, before transferring to Singapore and a name change to ‘Absolute Miracle’. He now races in Group company in Singapore, and was only beaten 1.4L in a Group 1 last season.
Further backing up her ability to throw winners was her second foal Mystic Award, who was a winner of 7 races.
The Two year old filly out of Dreams and Desires in ‘Dream Song’ (Your Song) trialled nicely on the 22/1/19 after racing in restricted room down the straight.
