A lovely young mare by superstar stallion BERNARDINI (USA) (2003), sire of 69 stakes winners and sire of the dams of over 21 stakes winners including Yulong Warrior, Catholic Boy, Mo Town and Serengeti Empress etc, Sweet Margaret is out of the Nothin' Leica Dane mare Leica Rose.

Sweet Margaret represents an excellent opportunity to buy a young Bernardini mare in foal to Nostradamus, multiple Group performing son of legendary stallion Medaglia DÓro. This 20/20 mating provides the proven double out-cross to Danehill.

Sweet Margaret is the third foal from Leica Rose, a full sister to stakes winner Leica Falcon - winner of the G2 Herbert Power Stakes & MRC Winning Edge Presentation Stakes. This young Bernardini mare hails from 5 generations of winning Dams boasting plenty of Black type.

The mare has great bone and a lovely temperament. She is being sold with a 20/05/2019 Pregnancy Certificate (LSD 02/10/2018) and Live Foal Guarantee (LFG). A reluctant sale forced by increasing feed costs and too much stock on small acreage.

Her first foal, a filly by the multiple Group performing son of Medaglia D'Óro, Mshawish (USA) is being retained to sell as a yearling. Such is the quality of the filly, mating Sweet Margaret with Nostradamus was an obvious choice.

The Bernardini mare She Said So (IF to No Nay Never) topped the Inglis Broodmare sale on 5 May 2019, selling for $220,000.
