Bred on a 4 X 3 cross of the speed influence Luskin Star, Glamarama Girl is one of three winners for the still active Reset mare Hunters Heroine whose dam is the wonderful mare Bold Promise.
This is a family that will continue to thrive with other close relations of Glamarama Girl in recent times visiting some of the country’s best stallions including Medaglia d’Oro, Exceed And Excel, Vancouver, Flying Artie, Dissident, Written Tycoon, Exosphere, Russian Revolution, Snitzel, I Am Invincible, Not A Single Doubt, American Pharoah, Maurice, Shalaa, Dundeel, Redoute’s Choice, Winning Rupert, Pride Of Dubai and Astern.
Glamarama Girl’s grandam Bold Promise was high class on the track (winner of eight of her 17 starts including three Group races and the Magic Millions), she has also proven to be a prolific broodmare.
Eight of Bold Promise’s ten to race are winners including the Golden Slipper Stakes and AJC Sires’ Produce Stakes winner Merlene, the Newmarket Handicap and Australia Stakes winner Miss Pennymoney and the Blue Diamond Preview winner Compulsion.
Bold Promise’s descendants are also outstanding broodmares producing the Gr.1 winners Capitalist (Golden Slipper) and Dear Demi (VRC Oaks), the Gr.2 & Gr.3 winners Merlene de Lago, Mister Yeoh and Red Excitement as well as the Listed winners Burnstone and Brayroan.
