Beautiful chestnut filly by Safeguard from Cherry Miss (by Blackfriars).
Safeguard (by Exceed And Excel from Preserve by Canny Lad) is the exciting new sire who had his first crop of juveniles race last year. Highlighted by the brilliant Metro wins and stakes performances of his 2 top fillies, Miss West Coast and Specialism, Safeguard also produced recent impressive 2yo, Mindarie, who won at her first start at Ascot on Sat 7th Dec.
Safeguard yearlings have sold extremely well, averaging over $80k, at the recent Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sales, and have gone to all the top trainers in WA and on the East Coast.
Cherry Miss is by champion sire, Blackfriars, (Danehill x Kensington Gardens by Grosvenor), is a half-sister to 2 winners, and is closely related to stakeswinner Blackwood. Importantly, Cherry Miss comes from the family of all-time great, Northerly.
The Safeguard x Cherry Miss filly is a big, strong well-bodied filly with a great walk and great attitude. She is bred to run fast and to run early.
