A 3-time-winner herself, including twice as a 2-year-old Fantome Gris was narrowly (1.85L) beaten in the Group 2 Edward Manifold Stakes by star mares Se Sauver, Star Fashion and Solicit.
She is a half-sister to 9-time-winner Reigning in Paris and 5-time-winner Zaveena.
A lovely big strong broodmare type, Fantome Gris was a $115,000 Sydney Easter Yearling purchase.
She has already recorded yearling sale figures of $140,000 (2016. Brazen Beau) and $100,000 (2017. Kermadec) with her first two foals.
