Description
Being offered primarily as a broodmare prospect due to a recent tendon injury, although the new owners may wish to go through the rehabilitation process if they wish.
By multiple Group 1 winner and broodmare sire in Tavistock. He has produced 18 SW including the Group 1 winners Werther, Tarzino and Tavago to name a few, with 5% stakes winners to runners. Out of international mare in Light Mozart who was placed in GB and her pedigree goes back through Nureyev and Northern Dancer.
She has a great staying pedigree and she raced accordingly winning 2 races and placing a further 8 times from only 18 starts. She has been well looked after and lightly raced and every time she went out she tried her heart out. Performing best on wet and dry tracks and really excelling once she got out to 2000m and beyond. Zaide raced in VIC, S.A and NSW provincial tracks winning at Bendigo and on Albury Cup Day and even placed in the Mt Gambier Cup.
Zaide was purchased by the astute Jeremy Rogers and Darren Weir at NZB Yearling Sale at Karaka for $45,000 in 2015. If breeders are looking for a well performed, lightly raced mare with a strong staying pedigree then this mare ticks all the boxes. She is a good size mare standing 15.4h and would suit most stallions. As stated earlier she sustained a tendon injury with Josh Julius during pre training a month ago and she is being agisted in Bendigo.
