Description
Leoncita is a Chestnut mare by SNIPPETSON, sire of 13 Stakes winners including FAST CLIP, MY POPPETTE, SNIPPETS LAND, VERGARA.
She is out of a LION HUNTER mare and is from the Family of Listed placed getter Image of Success.
Leoncita is a 3- time winner all of her wins were full of merit and reflect her potential as a broodmare of high class sprinters.
Her maiden win was at Cranbourne, beating Ice Planker (sold to Hong Kong ) and Kid Kobe( a very well performed horse.
The start prior to Leoncita beating him , Kid Kobe ran a very close second to top liner Golden Archer). Leoncita beat these horses easily. At her next win, a showcase at Ballarat, Leoncita had absolutely no luck , nearly fell and still won.
At her next start Leoncita went to Flemington, again no luck but was still good enough to win the Nouvelle Star Plate. Leoncita has produced a lovely colt by Jimmy Creed.
