Description

Rare opportunity for breeders to buy a young mare in foal to Coolmore’s popular leading second season sire RUBICK, sire of recently retired Everest winner YES YES YES. Despite his fee doubling in 2019, Rubick served over 260 mares for the season and given his growing record with emerging stars like RUBISAKI (winner last week of the $1m 3yo Inglis Sprint at Warwick Farm) his trajectory and popularity will only continue to improve.

Lightning Love is a young mare carrying what will be her second live foal and has her breeding career in front of her. Her first foal is a Inglis Melbourne Premier graduate from last year who was bought by astute Victorian trainer Phillip Stokes. She is a half sister to stakes winner HOSS AMOR whose second and third foals sold for $2.4m and $1.05m at the 2017 and 2018 Easter Yearling sales and her second dam is the former outstanding stakes winning 2yo LOVING CUP who was placed in the Golden Slipper and went on to throw 10 winners.
