ghtens is by Viscount, out of the At Talaq mare Souffle. Souffle is the half sister to Gr.1 Stradbroke handicap winner Crawl, multiple stakes winner Old Man, multiple stakes producing mare Step and Treppes, the dam of superstar sprinter and exciting young stallion Trapeze Artist.
Lightens is a well performed mare on the racetrack winning at 1200m and running 4th in the Adrian Knox stakes Gr.3.
Lightens is by Viscount (Quest For Fame) who is the sire of Champion racehorse Rocket Man, Derby winner Kidnapped and Queen of the Turf winner Neroli. In total Viscount is the sire of 17 individual stakes winners. As a broodmare sire Viscount has been successful with current star of the track Princess Posh as well as Gr.3 winners Jorda and Whiskey Neat all out of Viscount mares.
