Description

Spirit Song is a stunning mare ( 16.2 hands ) with a lovely nature.

She and Yosei were the two best fillies/mares by champion sire Invincible Spirit to be bred and raced in Australia.

A multiple stakes performer, she accumulated $729,501 in stakes with her best results being over 1600m and won from 1400m to 1800m.

She also ran 2nd at Caulfield over 2000m being beaten only 0.75L , giving the winner 5kg.

Once she matured as a 4yo she raced mostly in stakes class and being an on pace runner, was always tough to beat.

Her only poor runs were as a result of injury in the Emirates and the Tatt's Tiara.

Her 1st foal by Smart Missile made $150,000 at the Gold Cost MM but was unfortunately killed in a paddock accident in NZ shortly afterwards.

Her second foal by Dissident made $140,000, also at MM and currently races as Radical Spirit.

She has not been in foal since, so the opportunity now arises for someone to secure a mare of rare quality and take on the challenge of breeding stock of her own performance.
