Description
Young mare by leading sire Mossman out of winning Redoute’s Choice mare Cambridge, who is a half-sister to Stakes Winners Landsighting and Danzylum.
Cambridge Lady was a 2YO winner over 1000m and is a half-sister to the winners Campanula and She’s Got Curves from a strong commercial pedigree.
Cambridge Lady returned to Australia from New Zealand mid-October last year resulting in a delay covering her. She failed to throw up a follicle that was coverable after arriving and missed 2019.
She is being sold with her first foal at foot - a 2019 colt by Bullbars (AUS) who as you can see is a good type. Bullbars is the sire of Group 2 winner Contessa Vanessa as well as stakes performers Beauden, Te Toro Pearl, Comin'through, Mongolianlightning etc
Please note -
The colt has a wound on his fetlock which occurred on February 17.
It was a puncture wound that was x-rayed and given the all clear.
The injury was treated with antibiotics and bandaged.
He has been sound since finishing the antibiotics on February 22 and he has been back in the paddock for the past 9 days without an issue.
Rosemont Stud’s vet has advised he is happy the scar will continue to reduce and he doesn’t need further treatment.
Genuine sale due to owner reducing numbers.
