Description
Get your hands on one of the first Tosen Stardom foals by purchasing this mare from the family of Invincible Star and Invest.
A highly successful cross already, Deep Impact over Danehill lines mares, this mating has complimented and married really well to produce a top class Tosen Stardom foal. In the sale ring, Manzanilla has sold yearlings up to $130,000 including a Cable Bay filly sold this year to Archie Alexander. Manzanilla is a daughter of Golden Slipper winner Stratum from the family of G1 winner Invest and other stakes winners Invincible Star and Viking Hero. 100% strike rate with her progeny, Manzanilla is three from three on the racetrack.
A tall elegant foal, this filly presents as very athletic, stamped all over by her sire Tosen Stardom. She has a good step to her and knows she has class and quality. She has medium bone to her cannons and slightly toes in on the off fore but this is easily managed by trims every four weeks. She has great scope to progress and develop into a lovely yearling and racehorse.
Manzanilla is good to handle and is sensible in most aspects of husbandry however we have found she does tend to stress when on her own. She had a normal foaling in 2019. Missed in 2019 but only from one cover it was decided not to cover her again instead giving the new owner the opportinuty to mate her to the stallion of their choice. This foal has not been weaned.
