Description

Seized is a 5YO Gelding by Wanted. He is a quality animal and has performed superbly against subsequent group 1 winners, is a multiple winner himself and ran 2nd in the Vobis Gold Sires Produce as a 2YO. His form in Victoria, prior to being sold to Queensland was solid. He has raced 22 times for 2 Wins, 8 Seconds (3 of those should have been wins) and 2 thirds and has amassed over $142,000 in prize-money.

Seized is eligible for Super Vobis & Vobis Gold race series..

Seized is being sold as he recently had a bleed on the track after returning to Victoria, which was self reported and the mandatory 3 month race-ban imposed. As a result the current owner is not prepared to take time with him, with other horses in the system and also in managing costs during this difficult period with the Covid 19 outbreak.

Seized is a lovely animal as can be clearly seen by the pictures provided and has excellent conformation. The horse has plenty of ability , and for the right trainer will be a quality animal with plenty left to give on the track - he has proven form at Metropolitan level. The plan was to take him up past the mile (he has never been past 1300M finishing 2nd both times - can you believe this), his mother a Group 3 winner over 1800M and he does have a blistering turn of foot.
