Lightly raced 3 year old gelding by Fastnet Rock.

He went to the paddock sound following his latest run and would suit an interstate trainer.

Embargo: Commenced to give ground from the 400 metres. Rider Craig Williams reported the gelding failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure and was eased down. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality. The Hayes/Dabernig stable will be notified that prior to racing again By A Whisker must perform to the satisfaction of Stewards in a jump out due to being uncompetitive
