Description
A fast, precocious daughter of Spirit of Boom, Lady McCabe is now ready to commence her time in the breeding barn.
A metropolitan placed two year old that was also a winner at two and trained on to win a further two races as a three year old over 800 metres.
She unfortunately sustained a fracture to her knee subsequent to her last start in November 2019 that required surgery and has been recovering in the paddock following this procedure which was a success.
There is a chance she could return to the race track however vets have rated her a medium risk at best to successfully continue her racing career.
She is a young mare with a quality pedigree that is speed on speed. Being a metropolitan placed, winning two year old she would be a great addition to any broodmare band that is looking to produce precocious early running two year olds and would suit Queensland breeders down to the ground with an eye to the QTIS scheme.
