Description

MISS AMIGO is a city winning daughter of the multiple Group 1 winning 2yo and ultra successful stallion SEBRING. Sebring was crowned Australia’s Champion 2yo after taking out the Golden Slipper and Sires Produce Stakes in his juvenile season. He is now the broodmare sire of Stakes winning 2yo THE ENZO. Miss Amigo is out of the Stakes winning DANEHILL DANCER (IRE) mare TANGO AMIGO’S. Tango Amigo’s is also the dam of the 11-time winner HYDRAZINE and heralds from the family of Group 1 Australasian Oaks winner USE THE SPACE.

Miss Amigo’s first foal (colt) is being sold at foot and is by the exciting young sire DIVINE PROPHET. Divine Prophet was a Group 1 placed 2yo, before taking out the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas as a 3yo. Divine Prophet’s first crop of yearlings have sold for up to $375,000 this year. His weanlings have sold for up to $205,000. This foal is a neat, tidy sort with good length and strength about him. He gives every indication of maturing in to a nice yearling.

Miss Amigo was served by TURFFONTEIN and was in foal on her first cover. Turffontein has so far sired 6 individual Stakes winners including the Group winning millionaires WIDGEE TURF and FONTEIN RUBY, the multiple Group winning 2yo FONTITON, Singapore’s Group winning sprint sensation BOLD THRUSTER this season’s multiple Stakes winner MANDELA EFFECT. He is also the sire of this year’s VOBIS Sires Showdown winner KHOEKHOE who was so impressive in winning that rich 2yo feature at Caulfield last weekend. Turffontein’s progeny earnings are now just shy of $14.5million and he is consistently producing winners on the track, from juveniles through to the older horses.
