Aubers Ridge – Returned to the Spelling Paddock this week
Had been in work since 21 March.
Attractive 3yo Filly. Excellent conformation, neat, attractive approx. 15.2hh. Tragically she didn’t make it to the races for us having shown so much in trackwork. She has a niggling issue behind that has flared up so eventually in this COVID -19 environment her owners have given up the fight and are waving the white flag in surrender, by offering their filly for Unreserved Sale.
She certainly has ability and if she remained sound she would be able to put photos on the wall for her owners and trainer but alas, it won’t be for her current team of owners.
Aubers Ridge is a Full sister to WAR MISTRESS (4yo Epaulette) with Phillip Stokes. She is a Morphettville Winner and Morphettville placed.
Aubers Ridge has been in work for 9 weeks with Matt Laurie at Mornington. Unfortunately for the owners, this week in trackwork as she was being prepared for the next set of trials, she presented with mild soreness again.
She has been returned to the paddock to be ready for her new life either for a new trainer or for an astute breeder as a broodmare.
As with all Dynamic Syndications horses, they are offered for Unreserved Sale, as we dissolve their co-ownership teams.
We are in the business of racing horses; we are not a breeding operation, so she must be sold.
Being a Daughter of a Gr3 Winner and Granddaughter of a Gr1 placegetter she certainly has commercial appeal up close.
