Description
Sahara Belle is by the all conquering Champion Sire, I Am Invincible, out of Group 2 winning mare, Oasis Bloom a superb winner of the Group 2 MVRC Stocks Stakes. She is 16 hands and is a powerfully built individual.
Sahara Belle showed enormous ability as a young horse but was smashed into the running rail on debut and suffered significant injuries. She recovered and returned to racing but was never the same horse and subsequently retired.
Sahara Belle is a full sister to the highly promising 3YO, Invincible Lotus ($400,000 yearling purchase) who won impressively on debut at 2.. Invincible Lotus is back in work after recovering from an injury. She is also a full sister to promising 2YO, Efflorescense ($510,000 yearling purchase) trained by Anthony Freedman.
Sahara Belle is in foal to exciting stallion prospect, Rich Enuff, Written Tycoon's fastest son at stud. His first crop yearlings sold for as much as $430,000 and in his first season he has produced four 2YO winners and sits equal 5th on the First Season Sires Table for winners. He sired his first stakes horse last Saturday after Plutocrat flew home to finish 2nd in the Listed Brian Carter Stakes at Doomben.
Sahara Belle is being sold to dissolve a partnership which represents a great opportunity to buy into a strong black type family.
