Description
Tennesse Babe is 16'3. this mare had a somewhat unlucky start with us in the breeding, she slipped late, in our first year, second year we had a cracking big colt by Uncle Mo which sold well in the Inglis Classic sale but went eventually to Korea which doesn't record for Australian pedigree. and following year we lost our next colt in a horse truck accident.
Since, she has an Epaulette 2 year old gelding we are commencing racing with Greg Hickman. Garda Force.
He is very pleased with his progress describing "bold strider, eats up the ground" We have a yearling Filly by Smart Missile, a very good type and a weanling filly by Foxwedge, you will see the size she throws them in the photo attached, good straight legs. Tennessee Babe was a good foundation mare for us to enter the breeding arena. she was breed by Arrowfield and fetched $150k as a yearling herself.
She has been extremely fertile. never had to go back to the stallion twice. we believe in leaving some good foaling years in our mares for the next person so it is time to move her on. and her living progeny look to back her up. so more luck for the next owner
