Dual stakes winning 6yo gelding by Shamardal for sale. This lightly raced gelding has not raced since the 21st September 2019 where he suffered a right fore superficial digital flexor tendonitis. The lesion was 18% of the cross sectional area at zone 3. A current scan of the tendon has shown no evidence of the lesion and very mild enlargement of the RF SDFT compared to the LF SDFT. Current scans available. The gelding has been given the appropriate rehabilitation work of box rest, small yard, smaller paddock for the first three months of his rehabilitation. Since then he has completed a 3 alternate months of rehabilitation water walking and treadmill, (a month of rehab and a month of rest) for the past 6 months. He is ready to return to gradual return to training.
