Description
A young mare by a Champion Sire in foal to an exciting first season stallion... Estelle is a mare who ticks all the boxes!
She is by Danehill's dual Gr.1 winning son Fastnet Rock, outstanding sire of 157 stakes winners including 39 Gr.1 winners with progeny earnings in excess of $195 million.
Like his sire, Fastnet Rock is proving to be a strong broodmare sire influence with his daughters already producing 27 stakes winners including the Gr.1 gallopers Santa Ana Lane, Tivaci and Gytrash.
Estelle is a full sister to the terrific galloper Driefontein (now at stud in Japan), an eight times winner of over $2.3 million who won not only the Magic Millions at two, but also the Magic Millions Fillies & Mares Classic two years later, also proving her class with Gr.1 success in the Robert Sangster Stakes along with another three Group victories.
Estelle's speedy stakes winning dam Follow Gold produced six winners from as many to race whilst her city winning grandam Follow The Sales was well represented by seven winners including the stakes winner Export Gold, dam of the stakes winners Dubawi Gold and Forest Gold.
This is a prolific black type family and there is more to come with Driefontein visiting the best Japan has to offer (Deep Impact, Heart's Cry) whilst Estelle's other sisters have been served in recent times by the likes of Vancouver, Sebring, Extreme Choice and Nicconi.
Estelle was served last spring by the brilliant Gr.1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Written By, highly popular son of the wonderful stallion Written Tycoon.
