Due to personal circumstances a 10% share has become available in city class gelding ALCIDES currently in work with Melbourne Cup winning trainer Danny O'brien.
From the same dam as GROUP ONE class horses SPEITH and STAR OF THE SEAS and city winner TRAVANCORE all who improved with age which gives every indication ACIDES best races are in front of him.
ALCIDES has had 5 starts for 2 seconds (Moonee Valleys and Pakenham) and 2 thirds (kyneton and Geelong) with his only other run a 5th at Sandown only beaten 2.5 lengths.

After being given plenty of time to mature Danny and the team expect ALCIDES to be breaking maiden status and being competitive in higher grade races this time in.
A horse ridden in all his starts by champion jockey Damien Oliver it goes to show that he has shown the ability from day one to be competitive in metropolitan meetings.
