Description
Kiwi Colleen is a daughter of O’Reilly - one of Australasia’s best broodmare sires. At stud O’Reilly’s daughters have produced 823 individual winners (65.7% winners to runners) and an incredible 79 individual Stakes winners (6.3% Stakes winners to runners). Among those 79 Stakes winners are 15 individual Group One winners.
A two-time winner, Kiwi Colleen is a half-sister to the Stakes placed Czechoslovakia. A last start winner, Czechoslovakia is in training with Nathan Doyle and could well add to his black-type record as he was Listed placed and 4th at Group Two level when previously trained in New Zealand.
Kiwi Colleen is the dam of three foals to-date. Her first foal, a 2YO Hallowed Crown filly named Karauna, is in training with Anthony Cummings. She has a yearling filly by No Nay Never named Neverending who will be trained at Lindsay Park having been purchased by Lindsay Park and Andrew Williams at this year’s Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $100,000. Kiwi Colleen has a No Nay Never weanling filly on the ground and is back in-foal to this stallion on the back of those successful matings.
No Nay Never’s yearlings in Australia this year averaged over $112,000 with his highest-priced colt in 2020 selling for $575,000 and his highest-priced filly in 2020 selling for $325,000. One of the world’s best young sires, No Nay Never is already the sire of 24 individual Stakes winners, including two Group One winners. In the Southern hemisphere, he is already the sire of seven individual Stakes horses, including Group One winner Brooke and this season’s Group Two winning 2YO Need I Say More.
