Chappette's dam, DAINTY (Storm Cat), is still active in Japan, with a daughter (19) on the ground by the world's leading sire DEEP IMPACT, as well as a colt (20) by another leading Japanese sire in EPIPHANEIA.
Chappette's full sister FILBERT is currently at stud in Japan and has 3 un-raced progeny on the ground there by quality sires, giving further possibility of significant pedigree upgrades for this mare, while her half-sister LOTTA SUGAR (Fastnet Rock) now has her first two foals by WRITTEN TYCOON and STREET BOSS both on the ground as well.
On top of her immediate, active family, you can see by looking at her pedigree that there's serious depth as well with her 2nd dam, the G2 winner and G2-placed, LOTTA DANCING, while her 3rd dam in the G1-winning DNAZIG mare LOTKA. Both of those mares have produced Group winners and both of them have had daughters who've produced Group winners, headlined by the G1-winner CENTRALINTELIGENCE.
On type, Chappette's a lovely, attractive daughter of High Chaparral with a fantastic attitude, who should make a lovely mum. Standing 15'2, she's typical of the family of 'Dainty' and is particularly good in the feed bin as well.
Being sold on as the owners race and don't breed, but she's a lovely mare with a deep pedigree that would suit a big number of stallions right across the spectrum in Australia.
