Description
Atomic Sunrise is a winning daughter of Smart Missile and descends from a family packed with black-type. She is a half-sister to five winners including the multiple stakes scorer MYSTIC POWER and the Group 2-placed Sweepstaking, the latter named having already produced a winner of her own at stud.
Atomic Sunrise’s second dam, the stakes-placed Academic, is an extremely well related three-quarter sister to a trio of stakes winners. They are spearheaded by Blue Diamond Prelude winner TENNESSE MORN – the dam of dual Group 1-winning sprinter MALAGUERRA and Listed winner TENNESSEE MIDNIGHT, who in turn produced Group 1 Coolmore Classic winner ALOHA.
This is also the family of Group 1 winners SEABROOK and COOL AZA BEEL, as well as exciting sprinter LIBERTINI - already a winner at Group 2 level and third in last year’s Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.
With Smart Missile himself an up-and-coming son of leading broodmare sire Fastnet Rock, Atomic Sunrise represents a great opportunity to tap into a very active and successful black-type family. As you can see from the attached pictures, she is a beautiful type and will make a great addition to any broodmare band.
