Description
This colt is by the 3-time Group 1 winning sire FROSTED (USA) and is out of the winning DUBAI DESTINATION (USA) mare SAINTLY THERESE. Frosted was a winner of the Group 1 Wood Memorial Stakes as a 3yo before winning the Group 1 Metropolitan Handicap in record-breaking time by over 14L as a 4yo. His first crop Australian yearlings sold for up to $650,000 at last season’s yearling sales.
Saintly Therese is by Dubai Destination, who is the broodmare sire of 5 individual Group 1 winners including the dual Dubai World Cup winner THUNDER SNOW. His winners to runners percentage as a broodmare sire is currently over 67% for colts. Saintly Therese is a half-sister to the Group 3 winner BROKEN and is from the family of Group 1 Goodwood Handicap winner KEEPER and 4-time Group 1 winner METAL BENDER (NZ).
