Description

Santarene is a 5-year-old mare by Americain out of the Rose of Dana, a New Zealand breed mare with a strong pedigree. Santarene is a last start place getter over 2200 metres and is crying out for long distance races. Sadly, she is based in Queensland where there are limited opportunities to race in long distance races to suit needs. She is a two-time winner and placed another 7 time from only 19 starts.

Santarene is a half-sister to the multiple city winner in Bel Burgess who has won over $350,000 on the track and her dam has had 3 foals to the track for 3 winners. Her New Zealand family is littered with staying form and has black type performers through out the pedigree.

The owner are looking to sell her to someone who can race her in a location where she will get her chance to perform to her best over the longer distances she requires. For those who would like to inspect Santarene, the horse is currently located at the trainers stables at Eagle Farm.
