Shock Zone is a well-related son of exciting young stallion Kermadec. He is currently in full training with the multiple Group 1-winning partnership of Peter & Paul Snowden at their Randwick stables. The Snowden Racing stable have been very pleased with his work and he is now ready to make his debut at the races in the next week or two.
Shock Zone was a $280,000 purchase from the Inglis Classic Sale by Triple Crown Syndications, whose unparalleled success on the track is highlighted by dual Everest winner Redzel. Triple Crown & Snowden Racing have also enjoyed great success with Shock Zone’s half-brother, Military Zone, a dual Group 3 winner who was beaten less than a combined five lengths in the $7.5 million Golden Eagle and $1 million The Gong last season.
As predicted by Peter & Paul Snowden, Shock Zone took great improvement from his first trial to finish third in his most recent hit-out, where he was unextended by Nash Rawiller and came home just 1.3L behind the Group 2-placed and Group 1-performed AIM.
Please note that Peter & Paul Snowden have recommended that Shock Zone may likely need to be gelded at the culmination of his first racing preparation.
This 10% share is being sold due to unforeseen circumstances and represents a rare chance to join the dual Everest winning team of Triple Crown Syndications and Snowden Racing in a ready-made racehorse, one who has shown above average ability in his track work and most recent trial.
