Description
Emperossa is a big impressive mare standing aopprox 16.1. Her sire Testa Rossa is making an impact as a broodmare sire, leaving 370 winners from 600 runners including the multiple Group one winner Global Glamour, Vow and Declare, Cool Aza Beel and Prince Fawaz. She is out of the winning Zabeel mare, Scone, and has four sisters who are active in the breeding barn, being sent to stallions such as Pierro, Trapeze Artist, Toronado, Starcraft and Highland Reel, giving a large chance of an upgrade to the family.
After being placed at one of her only two starts, Emperossa has had three foals to race for two winners-her Sebring 2yo colt is in the stable of John Thompson and her So You Think 3yo filly is currently spelling after having one education run as a 2yo.
Emperossa is correct in every way and throws good types. She is easy to handle, goes in foal on first cover and is an excellent mother. She is in foal to the young stallion Nostradamus, with the resultant foal bred on the same cross as the unbeaten star West Australian filly Clairvoyance, as well as the star filly Global Glamour.
