Description
Phoenician Queen- selling due to recent injury requiring 6-12 months time off from racing, majority of the owners have decided to give others / owners an opportunity to give this mare the opportunity to recover & pursue her racing career or to breed from a very athletic & well put together mare.
She has shown good ability from the beginning which was evident from her debut win in a $50k maiden race on Canberra cup day. Sadly at her second & final race start she showed signs of sore knees possibly from her big frame resulting in 3 months off to strengthen her physically.
The tendon injury & recommendations for treatment from the vets is attached.
She is a half sister to the talented, now retired Our Belisa who was recently sold in foal to
Pride Of Dubai at the recent MM sales for $155k.
