JANNEKE is a half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner IN HER TIME, who fetched an eye-watering $2,000,000 when selling to leading stud Newgate Farm at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale earlier this year.
In Her Time won two Group 1s and placed in a further six during a stellar career on the track, one which saw her crowned the highest-rated sprinting mare on the World Thoroughbred Racehorse Rankings in 2018.
What’s more, Janneke is out of a half-sister to the dam of The Everest winner YES YES YES, who will cover a star-studded first book of mares at Coolmore Stud this year.
Janneke's dam, Hell It’s Hot, is also a half-sister to Group 3 winner HOT AS HELL and Listed winners CRAIG’S DRAGON and FLAMING HOT, the latter of which also finished runner-up in the Group 2 San Domenico Stakes.
Her granddam, Steam Heat, who was unraced, produced 13 winners from 13 foals to race. Incredibly, all four of the mares she produced have gone on to be stakes producers of their own.
