A well-bred filly by promising young sire Maurice who had first yearlings sell to $300,000 in 2020.
This filly is the first foal of talented, G1 placed racemare, Oklahoma Girl. She ran 2nd, beaten just 0.2 lengths, behind subsequent multiple G1 winner Kenedna in the G2 Roses as a 3YO, with multiple G1 winner Invincibella in arrears before finishing 3rd, beaten 1.4 lengths by Egg Tart, in the G1 Queensland Oaks with the likes of Kenedna in behind.
It is an active family, with Oklahoma Girl having delivered a Nicconi foal in 2020 and was recently covered by promising young sire Vancouver. Her dam, Shawnee Girl, was a high-class G2-placed 2YO and has bred talented G3 winning mare Sure Knee (recently scanned IF to Capitalist), while she has a Fastnet Rock 2YO with Chris Waller. There are a number of other fillies in the family being well-mated to proven and commercial stallions.
