Description
Broodmare Indirect with Press Statement colt foal at foot born 20 September 2020.
Indirect was a smart race filly by Elusive Quality x Blessed Be. She won her first start at Rosehill on a Saturday and finished a 2.4 length 6th in the Golden Rose at start 2. She is from the immediate family of Saintly, Gods Own and several other top stakes winners.
The mare produces beautiful foals as evidenced by her ’20 colt at foot. Her last three progeny offered as yearlings have given sound sales outcomes of $200,000, $100,000 and $150,000.
Two of the mare’s most impressive offspring are yet to race. The first is the well regarded John Thompson 3 year old gelding No Question (Not A Single Doubt - $150k MM ’19). No Question was beaten only 0.5 length when fast finishing at his only Randwick trial. He is currently spelling.
Her unnamed two year old Vancouver colt has been retained to race by the breeder and is in his early stages of education after being broken in by Toby Pracey (0410 109 661). Toby very much admires the horse.
The mare is a reliable breeder, throws excellent foals and is ready to cover. A suitability for breeding certificate is provided as well as a veterinary certificate on the health and well-being of the Press Statement colt.
