PAID UP FOR BOBS!!
The 2020 Inglis Ready 2 Race sale saw Headwaters' stock sell up to $200,000.
Headwater was the joint-leading Australian 1st season sire by winners for the 2019/20 season and produced 2yo stakes horses such as Group 3 winning colt Widsom Of Water and Group 3 placed filly Aquagirl.
The Exceed And Excel/More Than Ready cross has produced the likes of Bivouac. This colt is the first foal out of a half-sister to Group 3 winner PLATINUM KINGDOM as well as 7 time winner and stakes performed Eclair Sunshine.
Following his breeze up at Warwick Farm the colt unfortunately suffered a cut to his chest from the aluminium running rail which hindered his sale preparation, resulting in him being withdrawn from the live sale.
Initial inspection by the vets showed the cut to be superfical and cosmetic only and the colt has made an uneventful and speedy recovery, never having shown any signs of lameness throughout the process.
As is visible in the photos attached the cut has reduced to being an insignificant scar only and a veterinary soundness report specifically relating to this injury is also attached (current video, photo and vet report attached).
The colt is a very balanced, athletic horse with a great reach to his action and gives a strong indication that he is a natural type runner.
