Description
This Jukebox filly is out of See My Baby who is a half sister to the multiple Group 1 winner Sacred Choice, winner of the G1 VRC MYER CLASSIC and the G1 ATC DONCATER HANDICAP.
This filly has a lot of quality about her. She is a very athletic type with a nice deep girth, strong forearm and has a powerful hind quarter.
This filly is out of the first crop of Jukebox foals who stood in NSW for a fee of $11,000 inc
Jukebox was a brilliant Group-winning sprinting son of the multiple Champion Sire Snitzel, Jukebox kick started his career in the best possible fashion to remain unbeaten as a juvenile, highlighted by a dominant two length victory over his peers in the $250,000 Listed Inglis Premier (1200m).
Returning in the Spring to win the stallion-making Gr.3 MRC Vain Stakes (1100m), a race won in recent years by Starspangledbanner, Sepoy, Russian Revolution and Bivouac, Jukebox produced an outstanding sectional for the final 200m of the race, highlighting a blistering turn of foot that had always set him apart from the rest.
Jukebox recorded a further three Group placings in a brief career of just eight starts, finishing second to Gr.1-winning filly Catchy and defeating Booker in the Gr.2 VRC Danehill Stakes (1200m) as well as finishing second to another high-class filly Formality in the Gr.3 MRC Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m).
A naturally fast, precocious horse that won his first three starts, Jukebox ran true to his pedigree being from the top class stakes-winning juvenile Jestatune, a daughter of Golden Slipper and leading speed influence Rory’s Jester, who of course is also the broodmare sire of Not A Single Doubt.
A half-sister to WA Gr.1 winner Ihtsahymn, Jestatune is from another stakes-winning juvenile in Umatune, a daughter of Gr.1-winning 2YO and Gr.1 sire Umatilla.
