Description
Offered for genuine sale with a modest reserve of $4,500 is a striking and well conformed 14 month Nostradamus colt, approximately 14.3hh on the stick. Out of a $160k Premier Yearling and winning 2 year old, his Dam is a half to INFINITE GRACE and Charming Ruby (dam of FONTEIN RUBY and THE MITIGATOR) with this colt bred on similar lines to GLOBAL GLAMOUR (Sire's dam, Leone Chiara, out of a Testa Rossa mare) with dual Cox Plate Winner FIELDS OF OMAGH out of the 3rd Dam (remember FOO was before Winx's triple Cox Plate) and multiple other stakes winners.
"Rocky" is the only colt in our 2019 crop and while we had planned to prepare him for the 2021 yearling sales, we are very small breeders and unfortunately don't have the luxury of a paddock to dedicate to him on a farm full of fillies & mares before the start of yearling preparation season!
Nostradamus progeny continue to set tongues wagging in the west, with the Darren McAuliffe trained WA filly Clairvoyance 4:4-0-0($286,460) to step out in Late Nov in either the Sky Racing WA Guineas and follow it up with the Crown Perth Winterbottom Stakes. In NZ, Tinker McPhee (see press release below), at Horsham Nostradam Man and in Pakenham, both Phil Stokes and Peter Moody were full of praise for the progeny of Nostradamus when 'Way to Go Paula' won impressively, beating Moody's filly he considers stakes grade.
If the new owners intend racing Rocky, we'd be very keen to buy back into him.

Classy Nostradamus filly Tinker McPhee has been sold to the Chris Waller stable, but Kiwi race fans will see a little bit more of the 3yo in coming weeks.
She is set to line up in the G1 1000 Guineas next month.
The exciting daughter of Rosemont second season stallion Nostradamus will then make her way to Australia to race for clients of Chris Waller. Tinker McPhee won at her second race start at Matamata earlier this month and in the process dented some big reputations. That race was littered with Guineas prospects including Te Akau’s number one seed for the colts and geldings 2000 Guineas, $500,000 yearling purchase Brando. Tinker McPhee beat Brando by nearly 5 lengths in slick time.
It’s understood the syndicate that race Verry Eleegant brokered the deal to secure the filly for a price in the vicinity of half a million dollars.
Nostradamus has had a good run of late with four individual winners in the past eight days, including star WA filly Clairvoyance and Nostradan Man.
