Description
The Vancouver x Lady of Spain filly is an attractive filly with size, scope and a good temperament.
The well-bred Encosta de Lago mare Lady of Spain has four named foals and three are already winners, including the smart Rosehill winner Mrs Madrid, who has won over $140,000 to-date, and the three-year-old Muleta who broke his maiden at the Gold Coast in March.
Lady of Spain also has a 2019 filly by European Champion two-year-old Churchill on the ground, and she is in-foal to the leading first season sire Pride of Dubai, so there is plenty of upside to come from this family.
Lady of Spain herself was a winner over 1300m and is a daughter of Gr.1 Queensland Oaks winner Zagalia, and she is a half-sister to Gr.3 winner Dawnie Perfect.
This filly’s sire Vancouver is off to an extremely promising start at stud. Vancouver’s progeny currently led by Group-two winner Mount Pleasant, and Listed winners Night Raid and Madone. Furthermore he has already sired six southern-hemisphere Stakes horses (Mount Pleasant, Night Raid, Vangelic, Postcode, Ticket To Ride, Canadian Spice).
